Here’s the second updated build for this funny game. There’s a lot of change and improvement on this new version, you can take a look at them here. Minecraft has become a complete phenomenon this generation and we’ve seen a few copy cats or games of a similar nature pop up due to the sudden popularity of the game. With a premise like that of Minecraft’s it must be hard for developers to come up with similar games that aren’t complete copy cats, much like the XBLA game Fortresscraft has been viewed as. The premise of gathering resources and building things isn’t one that necessarily hasn’t been done in the past, but Minecraft’s style and sheer addicting levels of fun is what has made it the mega hit that it is.
Changes:
- Items: Cobwebs now prevent falling damage correctly.
- Items: Certain 'Dev only' items were removed, as they were for testing only.
- Items: The dark outlines on player and armor sprites have been blended better.
- Items: Torches now work correctly when being placed on wooden platforms.
- Items: Spawning no longer destroys chests that are placed on ground that is removed due to spawn point clearing.
- Items: Sand directly under a chest no longer falls due to gravity.
- NPCs: Guide now explains the use of a hammer and its interactions with walls and placed objects.
- Crash Fixes: Leaving the settings menu via the back button should no longer crash the game.
- Performance: Added a toggle for Frame skip, which can correct some slowdown issues on higher end computers.
- Performance: Optimized Single Player and Multiplayer.
- Performance: Players who haven't cheated will no longer be flagged as a cheater.
- Controls: The Inventory button is now re-mappable.
- Controls: Right clicking and holding on a crafting recipe will craft multiple of the same item to a max of the stack and/or until you run out of materials.
- Items: NEW ITEM : Sticky Bombs, Requires 5 Gel and a Bomb.
- Items: Sand Duping bug fixed.
- Items: Placing a bed far from the spawn no longer causes a player who has set their spawn there to crash on join.
- Items: Mining stone and other hard ores make a 'tink' noise now.
- Items: Hellstone and Obsidian now require at least a Demonite pick to gather.
- Items: Sand no longer spawns within a certain distance of the spawn location, This should remove the chance of spawning in a desert with no wood to use.

- Performance: Frame-skip is now correctly ON by default for new players.
- Performance: Increased Client Side Multiplayer stability. Should resolve many crash causes.
- Performance: Corrected a bug where players would intermittently not take falling damage.
- Performance: The world file is now saved to a temporary file that is copied over to the actual save file. This prevents world corruption when saving is interrupted.
- Performance: Fixed a bug that disabled some error handling. Overall game stability should be improved.

It’s a puzzler about combining atoms to form these molecules, but the emphasis is on the combining, not the molecules. That means creating ever more elaborate circuits, filled with complex instructions, to manufacture the desired substances. That’s the theory anyway, and for some that’s certainly how it works, as evidenced by the post-level graphs showing where you stand compared to everyone else playing. Space Pirates and Zombies is a mix of the deep old school space adventure genre with modern physics, action and graphics technology. Space Pirates and Zombies takes place far enough in the future that Earth has become a toxic backwater planet, so potentially not that far in the future. The galaxy has been colonized by humans, and the only means to travel to new star systems is through highly restricted and well defended warp gates. It is well known that systems closer to the galactic core become richer and richer as well as more scientifically advanced. This has led to theories of a secret system with a cache of treasure or knowledge at the galactic core feeding this growth. As a pirate, you must assemble a fleet and discover what treasure awaits you there.

- New resource loading scheme with multi part loading to prevent not responding errors and to increase loading and re-loading speed.
- Added game configuration screen before loading commences
- DirectX compatibility mode for cards with OpenGL issues (is slower, but may resolve some compatibility problems)
- The game now pauses on minimized and on loss of focus
- Full screen toggle on alt-enter (takes about 7 seconds)
- Alt-Tab speed vastly improved
- Rez pickup by beacon that is off screen is fixed

- We allow faction relation improvement through bribing down to the enemy level. So only Hate causes a no bribe situation now.
- No docking with a cascade exploding station
- Destroying any station higher than level 0 will increase your relations with the other faction. (a good way to resolve hate situation with the other faction)
- Fixed using hotkeys to construct ships during mass retreat
- Mining tractor (small one) works like other tractors now and picks up data and goons.
- Reworked the freighters basic design to remove weapons that the player may not have acquired.
- Datacube lifespan increased
- Stopped events from spawning into empty instances you are traveling to as you are in transit. It was a confusing surprise.
- Fixed broken firing on ships with a combination of constant beams and projectiles.
- Accelerated build time when not in combat.
- The basic engine upgrade is always in Proxima now. No more getting stuck with surplus garbage
- Cloaking shielding is MUCH More powerful. It can take a decent amount of punishment before collapsing.
- Drones no longer need to re-arm at the hangar.
- Cloaked drone bays contain as many drones as non cloaked bays
- Drone construction and launch times improved especially with higher level research
